7 Survivors of AZAL Plane Crash Arrive in Baku
Seven passengers who miraculously survived the tragic Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) aircraft crash in Aktau, Kazakhstan, have been safely transported to Baku, as confirmed by AZAL President Samir Rzayev in a statement to Report.
The passengers who managed to survive the harrowing ordeal will receive further medical assistance upon their arrival in Baku. Those in critical condition will be transferred by the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ amphibious aircraft and then taken to the hospital via ambulances for immediate treatment.
Details of the Fatal Plane Crash
On December 25, an AZAL passenger aircraft, en route from Baku to Grozny, tragically crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan. The plane was carrying a total of 67 individuals, including 42 Azerbaijani citizens, 16 Russians, 6 Kazakhstani, and 3 Kyrgyzstani. Out of the 67 passengers, 38 lost their lives in the devastating incident, leaving 29 survivors grappling with the aftermath.
